Intex Recreation Swim Center Paradise Lagoon Pool, Age 3+ReviewsMy grandson turned 1 year old this month so I thought getting him a little pool would be great. I was going to get a tiny baby pool but read bad reviews on most. This one advertises for 3+ but it looked great and no one hopefully would ever put a little child of any age in any pool. Well we absolutely love it. It is a perfect size and Mom and Dad can get in it with him and they all love it. My grandson holds the top of the pool and walks all the way around it and even being wet it is not at all slippery. I would advize anyone to make this purchase. I sure am thrilled that I did. Was very disappointed with this product, told it had a drain on the bottom of pool and it didn't, need to deflate everytime we use it. This is the 2nd time we purchased this pool. The first one was a couple years ago and not worth cleaning anymore so we bought the 2nd one. My 2 year old and 5 year old love it. It's a great size and lots of fun. The first we bought several years ago had a drain plug but this one did not. I'm rather annoyed about that since it is advertised as having a drain plug. Instead, it's a pain to drain. This pool looked great as it was being inflated. However, I was very disappointed to find that it had no drain plug. A pool this size is very heavy and difficult to drain by hand. The bottom developed a leak after just a few weeks of use. Definitely not recommended. Great pool for the price, especially because you don't need to buy the pump. We've used a hairdryer (set to cool), an air mattress pump and even the blower to a Little Tikes Bouncer ... all methods work great and can inflate the pool in less than 5 minutes. The seal doesn't have to be perfect, just hold whatever inflation device you've got up to the hole, and you're in business. As another reviewer mentioned, there is no drain plug. You've got to deflate the pool to empty it. Usually after a full day or 2 of play, the water gets a little cloudy. Adding a couple tablespoons of bleach helps to keep it clear maybe a day or 2 longer than that. I use an old splatter guard from the kitchen to get all the bugs out in the morning and evenings. You can also buy a cover. To store it, I find it helpful to reinflate the pool after emptying it. Wipe it down with a clean cloth and let it air dry completely, then deflate it and roll it up tight. It has kept great for the last 2 years in a deck box, despite the frigid winter weather. Enjoy! Average Rating: |
