I sent these cars to two boys, 5 and 7 and their mom said they played with them for hours after they got them.

Purchased the Bumper cars for my Grandson, the cars were a great hit. The grandkids loved playing with the cas and so did the adults. They though it was really funny when the little drivers would pop out of the seat.

I have NOT received this item as of February 10, 2010. I notified Round Table Toys in January that I had not received this item, however, I did receive some "Knock Knock Blocks" instead that were to be shipped to someone in New York. My 8 year old grandson was NOT impressed. Round Table said that they would send me a return label for the blocks and when they received them back they would credit my account. As of today, No label. I'm am very disappointed in this transaction and would like a full credit for the original ordered item and a label to send back the baby toy.

Great little toy. Bought for the grandson who loves it. When the little guy pops out of his seat the belly laugh we get is unbelievable.

This was a Christmas present for a 6 (almost 7 year old) Grandson. He loved it, but even more important so did all the adults at home! They had fun playing with these cars with him as well as each other! It was really easy to learn how to operate these cars, but still challenging at times to go just the way you want to go. I look forward to my next visit with him and getting to play again.

I bought this for my boyfriend for Valentines Day. He was all excited until he and his brother played with it. First of all it is falling apart on the corner and when you hit the balls they just stop. He owned one similar to this for years and never had a problem with it. I don't know what to do and I would like to find out about getting money back or a replacement. The shipping box was pretty cheesey and I wonder if it got damaged in shipping.

This is as much fun as I hoped it would be! I bought this for me and my friends, not for kids. I have a beautiful house and no room for a full sized pool table. Many years ago I lived near neighbors who had a mini pool table and I had fun playing it with them. So when I came across mini pool tables online I was intrigued. I researched all of them, even looked in local stores, and some out of town, but couldn't find one. I don't think its possible for me to have missed any review of any model online because before I buy something of this size without seeing it in person first I want some level of confidence. First, a word about the shipping. I placed my order on a Wednesday morning, using the "Super Saving", meaning free shipping. I didn't expect to get it for another week to 10 days. But to my amazement, it was shipped that very afternoon and arrived just 2 days later, in time for the weekend. I have it set up on my dining room table and am having a blast with it! I'd like it to be about a foot longer, but considering the price, especially with the shipping, I am very, very pleased.

This Table top Pool Table is better than I expected. Lots of fun especially when you don't have room for a full size pool table.

I bought this table for my 21 year old daughter and husband to play while she was home from college for a visit. Both love billiards -- and my daughter is studying in London, where she plays all the time. As I said in my title, this table is truly pub-quality (though portable, of course). Although my daughter is really an adult now, I believe children would love it too.

My Grandchildren received this for Christmas. They had a blast playing this, and the ages were from 6 to 16. They visit us often and I plan to buy one so they will be able to play at their Nanny;s house. This sits on a table and is very Sturdy, it does not slide around, everything is perfect. IF Amazon had this with Free shipping I would buy it but their Supplier wants $30.00 to Ship it. The table is a Great Buy, but I have to look elsewhere for a better price on shipping. A Great Buy.

Excellent book. It's amazing how many commonly accepted practices for games such as Eight Ball are wrong according to the official rules. More people need to buy this book!

My boyfriend wanted a book on the rules of different pool games because him and his buddies had many different rules to play various games. So I bought him this and they got to see who was right and who was wrong. It was the perfect gift for pool players. Very GOOD!

Every bar, tavern, club and hall with a pool table (in the US) should have a copy of this on-hand. The horrendous inconsistence and outright ridiculousness of most local and house "rules", not to mention individual "rules", has made a sorry mess of recreational American pocket billiards. I can only hope that the REAL games of 8-ball, 9-ball, etc., become better known to amateur players over time, and that the bogus, corrupt, yokel variants of these games finally die off some day.

WOW! I WISH I HAD THIS BOOK ON THANKSGIVING - IT SURE WOULD HAVE SAVED SOME TIME AND EVERYONE WOULD HAVE GOTTEN A CHANCE TO PLAY. YOU KNOW, THERE'S ALWAYS THAT ONE PERSON THAT SAYS, "YOU CAN'T DO THAT' OR 'POOL HASN'T BEEN PLAYED LIKE THAT IN YEARS", AND THEN -- WELL, I DON'T HAVE TO TELL YOU

What's the point in selling an outdated copy? I'm looking for the latest version 2000 or 2001. So many rules have changed since 1998 that the copy your selling is almost useless to those of us that are billiard buffs and take the game seriously.

It's hard to believe that a tale about a local kid from NJ about pool would be so compelling but, as I learned from Strokes of Genius, Wertheim really knows how to tell a story. I blew threw this book in a few days because Wertheim really keeps the story going. By the end, I really cared about Kid Delicious and hope that he has found his way. Wertheim is turning out to be one of my very favorite authors.

For anyone who has ever been a good or great pool player, there has probably been a few times, at least, where you wondered if you could make a living at it. This book is a wonderful exposure to that world of the traveling pool hustler. If you follow the game and its cast of players you will recognize many of the people mentioned therein. I would recommend this book highly to anyone with an interest in this exciting and exacting sport. "Running the Table: The Legend of Kid Delicious, the Last Great American Pool Hustler" is a truly delicious tale of a great sport with a long history and many fans, and one of the greatest players of the game.

Enjoyed this tale of the road trips and the detail regarding life as a pool hustler. It is not a deep subject, but the author gives us the full detail of the science of hustling and what the hustler's life is like. You can't help but like the hero of this story, the lovable self deprecating overweight hustler. The author paints a great picture of Kid Delicious and you will feel you know him after reading this fun book.

As an ex pool room rat I have seen many forms of Kid Delicious. Kid Delicious' journey takes him through smokey pool halls, drugs, overeating and a variety of other indulgences all in the futile journey to prove mostly to himself that he is worthy. The drug of choice is adreneline, living on the edge, chasing the dream of being the best. This relatively fast paced, autobiography is a story of obsession and self destruction. I read this book cheering the Kid on, hoping he would find peace while knowing he wouldn't. I do know I would like him, love to watch him hustle, share a beer with him but hurt in his journey of self destruction. Could he ever hang up his cue?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. A great look at a shady and mostly unseen slice of Americana. It is also an interesting character study of Danny, a fun loving, unmotivated, overweight kid who recognized he had a talent for succeeding in the shadowy world of pool hustlers, and went for it. I recommend this book highly.
